I'm thinking of getting a truck (mainly to transport/tow some weekend toys). The new chevy colorados look nice. good towing capacity, decent gas mileage, and better size for commuting especially into a city. diesel is even an option. What do you think?

if u don't need a full-sized truck, don't get a full-sized truck

suburban f-150 owners who never use the towing capacity or bed are the worst

Yeah, I don't need (or really want) a full size truck. Looking to at least tow a fishing boat ~3500lb but will also want to use this as my normal vehicle

generally 1500 but you can probably get a special tow pack to get up to 3500. I'm looking for something a little bigger than a rav4

you have to have a pretty big boat to need a full-sized truck; you can tow most fishing boats with a smaller SUV

I'm deciding between the Chevy Colorado (possibly diesel) and a Toyota 4Runner. Probably will go 1-2 years old CPO.
