No national firms. Local firms and a handful of regional firms. The one exception if you count it is Nixon Peabody, but the office has about 15 attorneys. Bond (Syracuse-based firm with 250 lawyers) merged with one of the better local firms within the past year or so. They pay $90k to start. |

I don't have casual Sundays with them, but my sibling who lives near them doesn't, either. Because we live far apart, the time that we do have is special and greatly anticipated, and we're engaged when it happens.
Not sure what culture you mean. Genny Cream Ale, wings, and the Bills? You're romanticizing middle American culture. There's nothing there that I can't do here. I still watch the Bills and follow the Sabres and talk to my family about them.
Gene pool is a race-related comment and I'm not biting. I'm happy and comfortable with my decisions in this regard.
