If you want a truck style SUV, go with a 4runner. |

My wife keeps her car for 10+years/100k+ miles so we specifically didn't want a hybrid, anything turbo charged, etc. and the 3.5L V6 riding on essentially a Camry platform is about as solid as it gets.
When I need a change from my loud, intense car driving her Lexus is nice place to be. It's comfortable, quiet, moves well enough in traffic. I don't think we really needed that super tiny 3rd row, but Lexus must have had a hard time moving them because they had more incentives on it and despite a higher MSRP sold for less than the non-L RX. It's come in handy about 3x so far when we had bigger groups that needed to go in one car for a short trip. |
