Solzhenitsyn was talking about the Russian Civil War and Communism generally and the atrocities against the Russian Orthodox along with those aligned with the White Movement generally. Incidentally, they also arrested religious Jews as well. Under Communism, atheism was the law and no one got a pass.

The Poland article - a lot to talk about there but not enough time to address all the points. Sufficed to say that yes, I think everyone can agree that a disproportionate number of early Communists were Jews and the article lists some of the reasons. I'll note that some of the reasons ended up backfiring spectacularly. For example - under Tsarist Russia there was a "Jew stamp" but you could get rid of it by converting. Under Stalin the stamp returned but became impossible to remove.

Btw, Molotov wasn't Jewish (his wife was) but the collectivization policy was a cornerstone of Stalin's early policies. In fact, this is why Mao did exactly the same thing (and similarly, caused a huge famine). The policy of directing the famine towards Ukrainian peasants was also a focus of Stalin's.

Ok, this actually weakens your position, IMO. Because removing intent and conspiracy and all that you're left with a fairly simple set of facts.

You are left with a bunch of Communists, most of which weren't Jews or even led by Jews at the top (Lenin, Stalin, Kruschev, Brezhnev, Gorby - none of them were Jews), that killed a bunch of non-Jews, some of which were religious Christians, some that weren't, and some Jews. You can retort "but a bunch of the middle managers were Jews" which is sort of shrug-worthy.

That is like saying "blacks killed a bunch of Japanese people because a couple of black dudes helped build the atomic bomb." You actually harmed your own argument by moving away from intent. Without intent, anyone that has any participation in any killings can be credited in that killing regardless of their actual role or intent.

To be fair, you have kind of a tough position to argue. While historically you could probably find pockets of what you're looking for during the Red Terror, the problem is that there just weren't enough Jews to really pull off the point you're trying to make.
