Like you're always on work on time, you work hard, groom yourself, you eat well, you go to the gym, etc but feel really empty, sad, no joy, etc.
Sometimes the "high functioning" part slips for me. Like if there's a long weekend or a vacation or something and I get out of my routine I can easily become a true wreck -- no showering, barely get out of bed, eat 500 calories in an entire day, etc. But for the most part I'm pretty good at masking it.

I go through spurts of this. Sadly in one now, which will hopefully pass come March or so.
They were really bad in college. These days I manage it and just try to avoid doing impulsive shit while I'm feeling gloomy.
