The director level at my company is populated by tenure washouts and MDs who lack the social skills to actually practice medicine, none of whom know shit about business. Meanwhile our corporate overloads are wondering why we aren't turning a profit. ljl

parents wanted me to do stem phd and was always groomed in that direction, not MD. i published a bunch in UG and could have had my pick of stem phd programs, but i thought a stem phd sounded horribly boring and thought law would be fun and exciting and was a sure way to riches. also 3 yrs of lol school vs a 5-7 yr stem phd sounded very bad. |

I realized I was dragging my feet about volunteering because I don't like being around sick people and I thought a requirement to volunteer was just more moronic dues-paying.
