Only Benatar argues antinatalism on moral grounds, and he somehow became the face of the movement. I don't think it's very effective, I'm more aligned with Zapffe and Ligotti who are moral anti-realists through and through.

I think that zappfe saying "our overgrown brains shouldn't exist" is moral to the extent that it's normative.

I can see something of a distinction, but if you shouldn't do something it's typically because it's wrong *with regard to someone*

I don't see how metaethics is relevant.
