The end result in the Kurds welcomed in the NDF/SAA in Afrin as liberators. Strategically this war is already over. The only remaining question is how much money to pay Iraq to force them to blockade the remaining YPG territory in the east of Syria and drive the Yankees out. The entire territory the YPG holds is landlocked. Its only defensible because the US trucks in supply from Iraq. If the Iraqi central government closes the border the Kurds starve to death. No US airdrops can sustain them. The Iraqis need $20-30 billion to convince them to lock things up. Its only a question of how this extortion payment gets divided up between Russia-Iran-Turkey. At the end of the day the US wont be able to top the offer from this coalition cause if the Iraqis take US/Saudi money instead the Iranians will kick off another round of sectarian murdering until they change their tune. Iraq will never again hold a pro-US position for more than the 5 minutes it takes to extort some money from Iran/Russia.
