For the most part, marriage has been a 180 experience for me. As a non-Chad, dating was not very fun for me and I'm very happy not to have to deal with any of that shit again, hopefully ever. I'm also very lucky to have found a very frugal, practical girl. Like, a few days ago, I made a thread where I was like "if Bitcoin hits $15k, I'll buy the CR-V EX instead of the CR-VLX" and she saw me make that thread and told me "you're not really going to waste money on the EX, are you? We don't need those features."
Every once in a while I'll read a really bad thread about an XOer having to deal with his materialistic shrew wife, and I'll immediately go find my wife, hug her, and not let her go.
THAT SAID, to the extent that married life has "horrors", it is dealing with the annoying domestic habits of somebody you share a home with. So, for example, my wife leaves clothing in the dryer for DAYS after she runs it, which drives me nuts. I leave coasters out on the table and don't put them back in the coaster rack, which drives my wife nuts.
