Probably vodka

But I basically only drink whiskey and don't get hangovers. Key is just have zero sugar. I only drink it neat or with diet soda as a mixer

once you're above the quality level of homeless rotgut, there is absolutely no correlation between alcohol "type" and hangover severity and anyone who tells you there is is a dumb fag

/thread

thinking that there is substantial difference that lets you 'hack' hangovers is for the same 105 IQ retards who think that different types of liquor create a different type of drunk e.g. beer=happy, tequila=crazy, gin=sloppy, etc.

If you drink enough to get really drunk and you're over 25, you're not dodging a hangover just because you stuck to clear liquor. I know you're not saying that but your personal biology and lifestyle probably make 10X the impact on your hangover than the type of liquor.

Beer does suck. I'll have one at dinner when I'm out occasionally but I never buy it to drink at home anymore. Too filling/bloating, and the novelty of craft beer isn't very appealing anymore. Bourbon, scotch, and red wine is about all I drink now

Hangovers are directly correlated with how dehydrated you get. Alcohol is a diuretic - it's going to dehydrate you.

Light beer gives you the tamest hangover because the relatively low ABV means you're staying more hydrated as you drink.
