CL owed about $1K in medical bills thanks to health insurance lien. Case settled at $9K. Mmy fee obv is $3K and Client will net about $4300 in her pocket after liens and medical bills are paid off. This is normal, daily, stuff. no property damage, treatment for ONE DAY. |

But the majority of cases come in from TV ads, and personal recommendations. It's just how these things work. As things are right now, I'm reasonably happy enough w my $140K annum plus health insurance for me and kid that I'm not going to go from that to ZERO for 6 months if I can help it. |

When I hit a base of $150K I am eligible for profit sharing, divvying up the end of the year profits for a shared percentage after senior partner takes his Million. That will bump stuff up to $250K or so. I am on track to hit that base in a couple years, assuming nothing happens--there is the possibility that retirements will trigger a new formulation, of which I'm aware. |

We got a million dollar case in once because I represented an ex husband on a shitty little PI case and ex husband could relay a message to new husband whos wife had died from accident. |
