AGS = real = best stones
GIA = scores everything 1 notch more generous than AGS = better than average stones that wouldn't get anywhere close to AGS 000 rating.
EGL & IGI = TTT, 2-3x more generous than AGS across, total fakery for people that want to buy a "certified" diamond from lower end chain stores. The only thing it gives you is that it's a real diamond, but you can't trust it at all for the specific qualities. |
