The case is similar to a commercial litigation (lots of e-discovery; battlefield over the limits of discovery; case turning on precise interpretation of statements and need for witnesses/defense to be extremely careful in their language; heavy on the motion work and research). These old-timers have a shit ton of trial experience but are not as well suited to modern litigation.
