it's not just an isolated back pain that perhaps you can tweak and fix.
as you've probably noticed, your entire stamina and source of strength give out on you. your engine, the mitochondria of your cells sort of poop out and are never there when you need them.
you look in the mirror as you pump your enfeebled muscles for that intense work-out you were looking forward to, and you see sallow loose skin and dull pallor reflecting back at you as you lose your breath before finishing a set.
things are not the same, and they're only going to get worse from here. and btw, you're only 32.

Not too bad compared to other crackers I know but still needs work.
Skin is drier and shittier than it used to be and I need to take better care of that. Fortunate to have a great full head of hair, now going salt and pepper. I have a dad bod now too but I’m 6’4” so it’s not as bad as it would be if I was some short squatty dweeb lawcuck.
Upside: I am living breathing catnip for chicks with daddy issues.

In my mid to late 30s. It would have been completely possible to go to shit but I'm not letting that happen.
At 30 I felt invincible. Between lifting and post workout basketball, I was physically active 4x week for 3 hours each day. Great lifts, looked young and jacked. Then I tore my ACL on a dirty play, and basically aged 10 years in one day. Having sore, unstable knees makes you feel old as fuck.
I still stayed decent looking, but any time I gain weight at all I look like shit. Also, late nights that I could formerly bounce back from easily make me look and feel like shit. Lifting hard lower body made my kneecap track uncomfortably in the following days. Sets to near failure made me feel like I was going to have a heart attack, and that my body shouldn't be doing it.
Then I broke up with my gf and working out became fun again. A lot of my intensity, effort, and motivation has come back. Youthful glow is coming back. Body feels really good. The other day, someone was asking me how I could afford all my shit at my age (referring to my car and house). I asked him how old he thought I was and he said maybe 26, 27. It's clear that being in that relationship murdered my test levels and that my body has a lot more left than I thought. Face still looks young except when I smile you can see the age around my eyes. Main concern is that since my test has skyrocketed, I think my hairline has started to pull back on the temples.
