Potential students who are in the middle and high schools need to see how one can pursue a career in the law field here in Savannah, not over 200 miles away in Atlanta and other places. Savannah High, on their website, shows that they have a law & criminal justice program. Truly a shame that there is no pipeline from this program to the law school. Date: March 23rd, 2018 8:20 AM Author: Bespoke den mental disorder I am a parent of a first year law student at Savannah Law School and my emails to Dean Morris were ignored. These students were promised a "wonderful Savannah Law School family" and got this STRESS! We were told at 2017 orientation that we needed to help our law students financially, emotionally, physically as not to stress them during the year and now SLS has done just that. They are asking our students to relocate to John Marshall Atlanta for a measly $2000 scholarship- Are you joking? Savannah Law School was just telling our 1L students JMLS had lower ABA numbers than Savannah. Why would our students want to attend school there? What about apartment leases, what about credit that do NOT transfer to other schools, what about the bond that has already been created? They can stay for a "teach out"- JOKE! These great professors will look for secure positions at schools that do not undermine them and lie to them. This faculty has a life outside of teaching where they must take care of their households.
