Honestly, the discussion in the slack isn't exactly thrilling. I just think with regard to certain topics it takes screen time away from the original community it piggybacked on, which annoys me. But if it annoys me, I have to do something about it.

What I would prefer is that both communities benefit from each other. I have suggested that some deals originated in the slack could be syndicated here through primablock, and the expansive array of channels in the slack be cut down so more discussion returns here.

If that isn't done, I guess instead of complaining, you have to come up with some ideas. I have some, but again... I don't think anyone has had nefarious intentions. People in the slack love the board, but many are consumed by the crypto obsession and they're following wherever the discussion goes. This is just the way things have developed.

Literally things were going great here until that slack opened. And from what Rach says, it’s a hell of a lot more expansive than a mere buyer’s group. That’s only for ICOs and presales. That’s a very limited purpose that wouldn’t suck all crypto discussion away from here as it did.

My opinion is that a private slack should continue to do what it does best, and the type of discussion that thrives in public would benefit from coming back to where it started.
