The issues of ACP as they relate to yesterday's search warrants don't hold a candle to the interesting legal/constitutional debates surrounding the Mueller investigation (can the President be indicted; even if there is collusion, what federal statutes would such conduct violate; how do we define obstruction of justice when the President claims he is merely exercising his authority; does executive privilege apply to certain requests for documents; etc.)
Under normal circumstances every big attorney would love to litigate this stuff. It's not a question of whether there are fascinating and important legal issues involved here. It's just Trump. |
