She said "oh I am staying at the Four Seasons - it's costing us 10K". One of the guys mentions that he works on Game of Thrones. "OH well, my friend's daughter works in Hollywood and on movie sets. She works with lots of famous celebrities." It was like she was trying to one up every single thing these guys were saying - a constant struggle to prove how superior she is to them. I don't want to out myself here, but it isn't unusual for a true NPD person to accuse you of rape, or call 911 on you, or allege to family and friends that you're abusive. It's a massively disproportionate response to every day conflict. |
