For Jews, your criticism is well-intentioned, with the clear object of helping them to shape up for their own sake (like the thread about your Passover conversations). There's no such undercurrent in your poasts about other types of groups.
Like I said, I think it is natural to think that your own people are the best, so I don't know why this would upset you.
And thank you for the compliment. I'd like to think that the world would be much better if people were just direct with each other instead of all the lies, but this might lead to all sorts of unnecessary conflict, so who knows?
You have a certain quality about you that I like, but I can't put my finger on it at all. It's how you were able to predict that I play Clash, and how you picked my theme song that I love. Whatever it is, it's impressive. |

4) Jews are over represented in high level positions in the fields you have cited relative to their population numbers. Jewish culture also tends to highly value education and high achievement in the traditional sense and place education in a position of primacy. This can’t be overstated. This leads one to a certain level of achievement in certain types of fields. And is there some nepotism too? Sure, no question. But nepotism isn’t unique to Jews.
5) no, quite the opposite, I feel America is highly welcoming and a tolerant country. Sometimes to a fault. Not perfect, but look around the world for crying out loud.
6! No but are they? I don’t see why that would be good or desirable. Unfortunately the American middle class which was once the envy of the world and defined the concept of the standard of living people wished for, has been hollowed out.
7) unavoidable to some extent. Many net negatives but the truth is the positives outweigh, I.e Americans do prefer cheaper goods than losing some jobs. Better to play smart than not play. |
