Located next to the Citrus Tower, which used to provide amazing 360 degree views of citrus groves but now offers 360 degree views of subdivisions, the Presidents Hall of Fame was a popular rest stop on US 27 for tourists driving through the middle of the state prior to the Interstate system. Indiana was an important swing state in the late 19th century, so Indiana has produced a shit ton of Vice Presidents. Dan Quayle is arguably the most famous (sorry, Mike Pence) and this museum is devoted mostly to him, but there are also exhibits on all of the other Vice Presidents that Indiana has produced. |

Now, you COULD just fly to San Antonio's major airport to see the Alamo. You could drive to San Antonio via one of the many major highways that go there. You could even take a train, I guess.
OR, you could drive to the middle of fucking nowhere in Brackettville, TX, population 1,600. No big airports nearby, no major highways go there, nowhere near the culture or history of San Antonio. But they do have an exact replica of the Alamo there:
