1) hewitt went wire to wire in 2002, and lost it to andre in april
2) andre held who held it for 2 weeks in april-may, and then gave it back to hewitt
3) hewitt held it for 5 weeks in may-june and then gave it back to andre after RG
4) andre held it throughout the summer before giving it to JCF after the USO
5) JCF held it for 8 weeks in the fall before giving it to roddick in november, who ended the year #1 and held it until fed took it in feb 2004 |

roddick's USO win was coupled with SFs and W and AO, plus two masters wins, and WTF SF
seems like roddick had an overall better year at the bigger events and it makes sense. |

The 250/500 events, and especially the 250s, are more for the guys ranked 50-150 imo |
