He has nearly $300k in student loan debt, which he could not pay on a 200 year plan, and he is going to fail the bar a 7th time. He is in his mid-30s and hasn't started any type of career and never will.
xo poasters ask if they should kill themselves if they haven't amassed $200k by 25. but look at goldstein: he is well fed, clothed, has a support group (synagogue), and the article mentions his friends. He is probably mentally in a better place than a lot of posters. and modern america just doesn't let you starve to death on the street. His life, overall, is pretty good if he can psychologically distance himself from the debt. |
