I strung together about 3 years of sobriety (2014, 2015, 2016), then fell back into it hard in 2017. Basically developed symptoms of psychosis—not sleeping at all, crazy agitated all the time, panic attacks like every week, on edge and lashing out at people. Calmed way down in 2018, but last week I probably had like 400mg M-F and now I’m trying to detox and it’s hell. Today was impossible. i've had weeks like that but don't think I've ever experienced a panic attack. withdrawal effects are mostly just a terrible brain fog and lethargy where nothing seems worth doing, and i just try to hide from the world until my next refill. trying to set myself up for a "dumber" job so i can get by without feeling i have to take this shit just to keep up. |
