As of today Connors has played 134 more matches than Fed, and has won 107 more.
What's interesting is that Connors has 12 more titles, 17 more finals, but a whopping 45 more semifinals (240 vs 195).
That's an ungodly number of SFs. That's basically the same as the disparity between Fed and Nadal (195 vs 149).
Did Connors just play a lot more tournaments with smaller draws?

Also interesting, Nadal has the best winning pct of the big 3. I'm actually surprised Fed is last.
Nadal (82.73) > Djokovic (82.3) > Federer (82.0)
Right now Nadal is #2 all time in win pct to Borg (82.74). Nada will be #1 if he wins RG (82.84)

also: fed has played 338 tourneys, connors 398
i guess connors played in an era where there werent 9 mandatory masters, and guys played more small tourneys.
fed has a worse winning percentage than lance and djoker bc he had so many bad years until the 2017-2018 resurgence.

I can't stand Connors, but I've ultimately come to think he's underrated in tennis history.
He pretty much never played the AO, and he skipped a few RG tournaments when he was at his peak (and pre-Borg I believe).
He was probably good for another 2-3+ majors at least.
