I still struggle with how one could go fast enough to reverse time, explain

yes, up
no, as you approach the speed of light in any direction, time slows down, and at the speed of light time stops
but because as you approach the speed of light your mass ALSO increases, the force required to accelerate you faster and faster also increases, meaning that to reach the speed of light you must expend infinite energy, which is impossible

we can't "reverse" time any more than you can "reverse" a road: you just travel backwards on the road (which I know is what you meant)
time travel backwards? maybe with DAT wormhole but this is still highly theoretical and also controversial
also even if we got on DAT wormhole tip, we'd never be able to travel further back than the point at which we implemented the wormhole method or one came into being (we've never seen one and they're theoretical)
so there's never going to be a fix for you not fucking that girl in middle school

Think of space as having 4 dimensions. The first three dimensions are the vectors we are all familiar with: (1) up-down; (2) side to side; and (3) forwards-backwards. The 4th dimension is time.
As you move through space relative to an object, your movement through time relative to that object slows down in proportion to the relative speed you are traveling. The faster you move through space, the slower you "move" through time.
