Worked for a firm that specialized in these areas during law school and co-counseled with them on a few cases when I was starting out so I could see how cases developed A to Z. I’m pretty shy until I get to know someone in general, but have been trying to get better at that. Talked with a bunch of attorneys that have areas that complement my practice areas (bankruptcy and family guys mainly) and pay them good referral fees so they keep feeding me cases. My favorite lawyers are the laziest ones that just care about collecting their referrals so I don’t have to worry about them trying to learn these practice areas and doing it themselves.
