RDJ is probably not a typical example of what famous actors like to have on set with them. He’s known for his shenanigans — and at this point, he can and does get away with pretty much anything.

Amenities? When he started work on Civil War, he just went ahead and had his own furniture shipped out to Atlanta, so he could have his things with him even in a different state. Supposedly his cats have a particular chair they like to nap on, and it snowballed from there.

While filming the same movie, the rest of his castmates each had a trailer on set. He had five, known as The Village, and would invite one of them at a time for lunch with him. It crops up pretty often in interviews, especially when there’s multiple cast members at the same one.

Tom Holland told a story in an interview for Spider-Man: Homecoming about how an AD knocked on his trailer door and asked if he wanted to go to “Downey Town” when he was new on the Civil War set. He misunderstood, and insisted that he didn’t want to “go to town” — it turned out that Downey Town was a collection of trailers put together with a garden in the center, complete with a chef, and he did very much want to go.
