tl;dr I have a misdemeanor DWI from several years ago, just copped an offer, and now they're gonna run a background check before it's official
So my question is: would it be wise or dumb to send the hiring manager a preemptive email basically saying "in the interest of being forthcoming, I do have a misdemeanor on my record, blah blah blah" etc.? Or should I just let it play and roll the dice? tyia |
