Meanwhile the man has been publicly shaming the PE industry for the past 40 years and continues to do so.

Value investing as a "strategy" is 100% boomer flame that hasn't worked since the inefficient capital markets of the 1950's where Warren Buffet got his start.

i don't actually know if this is true but always felt his public company positions were shit (the ones where he tried those complex tax moves to offset the inherent tax inefficiency of a c-corp owning a small stake in another c-corp) but his private companies like Geico, Gen re and Burlington were super homeruns.
