People are allowed to seek asylum. If they bring their kid to get away from the situation they are fleeing, the United States takes away their children, including infants.
If you want to change the asylum laws then fine do that, but there is no argument in favor of this policy other than deterrence and using infant children as a means of deterrence is morally reprehensible. |
