Just from what I've seen recently in most of Asia Chinese is becoming the second more popular language to learn, in Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.
And many high schools now offer Chinese whereas 10-15 years ago that wasn't as common.
Its just a matter of time before Chinese culture influences the west more, ppl start getting into Chinese music and TV. Moar and moar will want to learn Chinese
