there was another thread this morning that just made NYC's poor white trash jump to the front of my head. and i started to think that if you asked people based on their imagination/media to paint a picture of NYC, there would be no poor white people. and that's super fucking weird to me because before college all the white people i met were poorer than me accept for a sprinkling. and there are alot of them. i bet people think there are none. no...there are a fucking ton. and they're generally good folks ime. truth is most people when you deal with them one on one are good folks, i know the stormfronters don't like to hear that, but that's my experience.

These people have been dumb proles for generations, but at least they were proles with community and purpose. With manufacturing jobs shuttered, low birth rates, low church attendance, etc, any youngs just flee (if they can), and these communities wither. Church no longer binds them, no community leaders or noblesse oblige factory owners to keep anyone together. They do meth or heroin or oxy, or drink their lives away. And no one in power gives a flying fuck about it
