things didn't seem as hot back then. like you could play outside all day in the middle of the summer and it wasn't unbearable.

I grew up in a place with really cold winters and muggy summers, but I don't recall ever being bothered by that. I was happy being outside all day loong digging holes, looking for cool rocks, and building forts with my bros.
