And he says "high-skilled" (actually mostly just shit-tier H-1B) immigrants contribute more tax than they receive in benefits. I doubt this is true once you take into account all the relatives they bring in.
Anyway, even without that, the US citizens who would have done those jobs instead ALSO would produce the same net-positive (tax minus benefits received), had they not been displaced in the workplace by H-1Bs. So there's really no need for these immigrants either, except for maybe a very tiny number of true genius job creators. |
