I have been thin my whole life and have gained weight only when I hang out with the wrong crowd.

So basically, after gaining about 15 lbs after 6 months of dating a foodie, I decided I was going to eat healthy. No junk, no refined sugar or carbs, just fruit, veggies, shakes, etc.

It's been 6 months and I haven't dropped a pound. Do I have to literally go on a super low-cal diet to drop the few pounds I gained after dating a freaking foodie? Srsly, why can't I just drop them by eating healthy shit and avoiding junk and sugar? I don't eat pasta. rice, or any of that shit. I eat a piece of toast in the morning and one at night, probably a ciabatta for lunch and the rest is coffee, shakes, fish, veggies.

you are vastly underestimating how many calories you are eating a day. depending on what you mean by "coffee," i suspect that may be the culprit.

fish can also be relatively high calorie, depending on what fish and how it's prepared, especially when compared to something like oven baked chicken breast.

4 oz oven roasted boneless skinless chicken breast with sriracha sauce = 120calories

4 oz of salmon, plain = ~250 calories.

Minus the sugar in the milk and berries. Look, I just trimmed down from 184 to 167.5. It took me several months, and it's going to take you several months. You need to run, on average, ~300-400 calories of deficit per day. Each month you'll lose 3-4lbs. Any "crash" or fad diet that has you losing weight faster is just pushing water weight out of you or starving you to the point where you'll rapid eat away as muscle. Keep lifting and run a SLIGHT calorie deficit and you'll be fine.

If you keep up with a slight overall deficit and mix it up with a meal skip or a fast here or there, you won't give up too much muscle.

Well you might need to cut the coconut milk though the kind of coconut milk I know of is the Thai canned stuff, not sure if it's different here. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE cooking with that stuff, especially mixing it with tomatoes and curry, then adding shrimp, then pouring it over pasta. Mmmmmm. But yeah, fattening.

I let myself cook with like a tablespoon of coconut oil per day and that's likely too much fat. :(((

Unless you can deadlift enough to flip compact cars and can row enough to tear doors off of their hinges it's basically useless to lift without joining a gym. Join a cheap gym that's full of meatheads. Ideally your gym should be like 50% black and 95% blue collar roidfreaks with an average IQ of 80 or lower. Also, get an adderall script and start injecting horse testosterone and maybe consider getting shin inserts and a chin/brow remodel as well as jaw implants. If you keep this going for 5-10 years you will eventually lose some weight and might end up looking like a normal person.
