The problem I have with any of my 80s dream cars is that shit needs to be MINT or else I would be pulled over by cops constantly, plus ostracised at work subtley or something.

3rd gen Camaros have such a a bitchin' profile/rear end but something about the front end and the massive overhang just makes no sense to me.

Remmeber when you were a kid and it was a "hot" day, like 80+ degrees, and you get inside of some old person's car and the vinyl/leather seats BURN you and the metallic door pulls SEAR with heat? Why are Cars now so much better at sealing off heat?

The slowness of these irl is mind-blowing and 5.0 cars with no LSD cannot turn at speeds higher than 15mph in the rain or you'll spin out and die. They look cool to me but the process of literally making them fast is confusing to me.... I see no way of doing it irl without forced induction.

Engine swaps when it's the exact same engine are nothing, but swapping in a coyote motor is a big fuckin' deal irl and seems to cost people like $10k somehow.

I just dig that old car aesthetic combined with fuel injection providing dat modern reliability (bonus: the car does not smell like unburned gas from inside). Peak era for Benzes/BMWs but even something like a Grand Marquis is chill as fuck.

Sure muscle cars are cool as are bubble tops and shit but these cars are happiest when they are sitting still or stoplight racing. The brakes on these cars are lulzy and caused countless needless boomer deaths. RIP boomer motorists.

Most of what you say is boils down to nonsense that you say with the utmost confidence. Niggers love Cadillacs. There is basically 100% overlap between old people taste and nigger taste, the nigger car is just usually in worse condition.

As stated above, these cars all smell like uncombusted gasoline and anything without disc brakes will try to kill you if you daily drive it. You're going to just want to put an LS1 in it and by then, what are you really doing? Aside from the muscle cars, classics are nice cars to look at but that's the end of it. It is impossible for you to know how bad these cars are if you have not experienced them imho. You cannot just be a chill bro in a Chevelle, there is a ton of planning and execution and wariness of people braking too fast and white-knuckle driving when it rains and shit. Also, 6-10 mpg is standard. Imagine spending $6k+/year just to put gas in your cool-looking car that smells bad, A/C blows hot, brakes lock up when it rains, and it's slow and tries to kill you.
