The things that made it bad were (i) leaving college, (ii) Brandon leaving, and (iii) Valerie leaving.
The last couple seasons were WAY too Donna/David focused and thus sucked. |

And then you had the loss of Brenda after Season 4 and Jim and Cindy after Season 5, so the show very rapidly went from being a Walsh show to a gang show. |
