If you're in-state at a public, your loan balance will be laughable anyway and you can cop a chill tuition refund, and loans cover room/board anyway. And if you're paying private tuition, lol @ you and your $7k/year versus your immense Balance and its Capitalised Interest. My bigstateu was filled with MAF commuters making $7,500/year in order to put gas into their cars to drive to their ruinous jobs wherein they experienced overtime theft. All of them had ruinous GPAs and bombed OCI, making college effectively a distraction from their REAL career wherein they make $7,500/year for life.
I'm not talking about Elite Engineering co-ops or working 7.5 hours a week through a work study program. I'm talking about the indignant-sounding proles on soapboxes who reply to internet articles like this:

Joe Smith Murray KyAug. 14 Great advice. I worked construction from 4am until 3pm and then went to school until the evening and picked up a few hours at a warehouse afterwards. I graduated without debt but that’s pretty hard to do. If you support sleep and health, then here’s a solution: higher education or trade school for all. People should not have to work two jobs or go into debt to better themselves. I think higher education for everyone is practical and reasonable. Much more than the proposed Space Force. Trust me, I would’ve loved sleep, but sleep isn’t affordable for a lot of us. |

Self-teaching out of the book / doing Engineering practise questions and/or copping Answer Keys from your fraternity brothers is critical to achieve understanding of anything whatsoever. Yet so many idiotic students sit through class like it's not retarded/irrelevant, taking useless Notes and shit, and many of these idiots will then either ingest Poison (thinking that it makes them cool when in reality it will not get them laid and all that matters is Phenotype), *or* go to useless shitjobs that pay nothing because of nafta/boomers, not study, and get Ruinous GPAs, causing GC to have to import immigrants to do the jobs they wish they can't get because of strict GPA cutoffs.
