All of the allegations were of abuse decades ago (some 40+ years ago). There was a study a few years ago that found that the Catholic church had no worse of a problem (current and historical) with child sex abuse than other institutions that had contact with children. Non-parochial schools, camps, other christian churches and other faiths, were no better. In fact, your run of the mill public school was the worst.
