However, despite the first lady's efforts to improve her husband's diet, Trump reportedly would still prefer to have two scoops of ice cream for dessert.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump frequently had fast food from restaurants such as Domino's, KFC, and McDonald's. His typical order from McDonald's reportedly consisted of two Big Macs, two Filet-o-Fish sandwiches, and a large chocolate shake — totaling 2,430 calories.
For breakfast while he was campaigning, Trump reportedly used to have his bodyguard Keith Schiller run to McDonald's to grab him Egg McMuffins. When not eating McDonald's or bacon, Trump frequently will skip breakfast to focus on lunch and dinner.
Trump's longstanding love for fast food is tied to a fear of being poisoned, according to author Michael Wolff in his book "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House."
The cupboards on Trump's plane during the campaign were reportedly stuffed with snacks, including Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels, and multiple packages of Oreos — which Trump refused to eat from if the packages were previously opened.
Trump also reportedly orders his steaks well done with a side of ketchup. Despite not drinking alcohol, tea, or coffee, Trump is said to have 12 Diet Cokes a day.
But Trump has reportedly begun to eat more fish, salad, and soup, and less red meat, according to Bloomberg.
