The Czar orders it and it is done by way of central planning. There are 10 year, 5, year, 3 year and 1 year plans. In the naval arena there are even 25 year programs because it takes 25 years now to mature a mature combatant design even in the West.
The Soviet model has been reformed. Basic inputs like steel are free market sourced but that nonsense is trivial. |

It will be used for red on blue testing and new manual writing. A new tank necessitates they rewrite all the books on everything. It is a long process to induct a complex platform like this. Once it enters service production will be around two battalion sets a year — about 68 tanks a year.
The T-14 was on display at this arms show. The example presented was a nice well used model from the testing batch showing a good bit of field use. |
