Two adults + 3 kids even at Applebees is like $120 total with tax and tip. Especially when you see both parents getting a mixed cocktail or whatever new "frozen margarita punch blast" they have on the special menu.
Even I care about the bill from treating a group of my friends and I make $400k.
Add in an annual trip to Disneyland for 4-5 or an annual family cruise and there goes 25% of post-tax pay.

I go to Applebee’s a lot because I live by the Flatbush one and it’s just super convenient to go there for a salad and a beer and I don’t give a shit how mediocre it is. That shit is cheap as fuck. |
