but longterm this isn't sustainable- most wagecucking means corporate gigs now and you have to be willing to play the womanly corporate game if you want to not change wagecuck jobs every 2-3 years, which doesn't work so well in your 40s/50s, etc.

I looked at my skillset, then made a list of things I could do that could potentially generate income. I added a few complimentary skills as well that I consider marketable. These are things I can do 100% myself and don't require more overhead than my apartment. I spent a lot of time with that and came up with several viable business models. I'm taking the time now to work on marketing (build a social media platform, networking etc) and get these businesses off the ground.

I'm not expecting this to immediately replace my corporate salary, but I have enough irons in the fire that I'm somewhat confident that this strategy will pay off over the next couple of years.

I know people on here are risk averse as fuck and hate uncertainty, but if you understand your domain and aren't a complete aspie troll this is something I think can work for anybody (who isn't married/has kids etc).

edit: it probably helps that I've worked with bootstrap startups before I so I know at least the basics about business, but its really not that complicated
