My first roll back was for pool comp and the reason I failed my last go was for not being totally limp and blowing a steady stream of bubbles on the FSA at the end. Just retarded.
All the other stuff in pool week really is nbd, knot tying, the 50m underwater, drown proofing etc. |

On the way you have to blow a steady stream of bubbles but you've already been off the air and trying to follow protocol for 90-120 seconds so it's gay, plus they surface slow as fuck to mess with you. I'm actually fairly out of touch with the guys from the classes I was in. Post hell week 90% of attrition has already happened, so most of the guys I got closers with became SEALS, but since I dropped we all went our separate ways and life went on. I didn't make the kind of bonds there that I would have had I gone on to the teams and done a few pushes. I am in contact with 3-4 guys who went to the teams, all but one are now out of the Navy. It's a rough life. |

When they go out it's probably 6-8 enlisted for each officer usually. I'd guess that the average IQ for chief and above SEALS is about 115. Surprising number of guys who resign commmissions/have college degrees enlist because there are so few officer slots. There are plenty of dumb AF proles that slide through BUDS and SQT, can't argue against that, but you can't be a total retard SO and make E-7 and above.
