WTF @ ur race

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fried_spider

Fried spider is a regional delicacy in Cambodia. The spiders are bred in holes in the ground in villages north of Skuon, or foraged for in nearby forestland, and fried in oil.

The spiders are a species of tarantula called "a-ping" in Khmer, and are about the size of a human palm. The spiders are tossed in a mixture of MSG, sugar, and salt; crushed garlic is fried in oil until fragrant, then the spiders are added and fried alongside the garlic until "the legs are almost completely stiff, by which time the contents of the abdomen are not so runny."

The taste has been described as bland, "rather like a cross between chicken and cod", with a contrast in texture from a crispy exterior to a soft centre. The legs contain little flesh, while the head and body have "a delicate white meat inside". There are certainly those who might not enjoy the abdomen, however, as it contains a brown paste consisting of organs, possibly eggs, and excrement.

completely different my Asian friend. there's no natural human disgust instinct towards crawfish, developed through generations of natural selection, like there is towards spiders.

it's like saying "gulping down manjuice" and "eating poop" are the same because they both come out of men. very false, because the former is a natural, traditional human activity practiced throughout history by alpha twinks, and the latter is a disgusting modern lib innovaton practiced by Benzo.

I'm not going to defend chinks' practice of eating dogs because dogs were domesticated for companionship so they are not the same as pigs, even if pigs are smarter.

But when we are talking about mindless goop-filled invertebrates, there is no difference between land insects and aquatic insects.

i think our aversion to spiders is due to them oftentimes being poisonous, so our genetic memory tells us to avoid them and be uneasy around them. same reason why scorpions make us feel uncomfortable, but crawfish for example don't, even though they look like scorpions (kind of)

i mean its just natural selection, ppl not scared of poisonous spiders = less likely to survive/reproduce, so arachnophobia is a naturally selected for trait
