You can see where doing something like teaching would be much more gratifying, but in many ways being a lawyer is a lot better than most corporate jobs. |

If you don't have a closing or anything pressing you can just go to the movies or head to a bar at 1:00 pm if you feel like it. Lawyers forget that like 90% of workers need a fucking permission slip if they go to the dentist. |

Lawyers have actual tangible work output, which is why no one cares if they roll in at noon and watch Netflix in their office.
Not sure the tradeoff is worth it but its definitely a perk. |
