But make sure the number is within what you could possibly reach, not some crazy out there figure.
Me I'd buy a townhouse in MFH along with a cottage in some nice lakeside area, maybe lake tahoe or something like that.
In each of my homes I would have nice furniture, although I don't really think I'd even spend much on couches and kitchen tables and shit like that because I find that more $ past a certain level doesn't buy you more quality in those types of products.
But I'd really go all-out on the beds. I'd have king size beds in my bedrooms in both homes, as well as the guest rooms. The king size beds in my personal rooms would be those really high end ones where you can raise the part around your shoulders up and down. I would have smart TVs in front of every bed, as well as in some common area.
I would also go all-out on my computer desk and chair. I'd have one of those desks that wraps around the corners of the wall, and my computers would all be top gaming PCs. I would not buy any macs because OSX is objectively shittier than windows now, there's no point in buying macs anymore.
I'd buy one of those two panel fridges with the ice maker, but I won't go into much detail on that.
I wouldn't spend any special money on a car. I think a Toyota Rav 4 would be perfect.

Having a kid takes an insane amount of your time away. However, the older they get, the easier it is. My son is 14 months right now and the last two months he has gotten way easier. He walks now, he can entertain himself with toys, he is fun to play with, and he can communicate a little bit. I have a brother and sister who are 17 years younger than me (twins). They are 18 years old now but when they were 3 my wife and I would take them a ton of places. They were a blast to hang out with.
Right around 3 years old kids get super awesome. Just teaching them shit and reliving your childhood makes it totally worth it. I can't wait to show my son video games, awesome 80s movies, guns, etc. It's like you get to relive the best parts of your life and share it with a best friend whose personality you get to craft. It is 180.
I'm trying to make one more with my wife right now and then I'm getting a vasectomy. After two kids it gets practically difficult. Everything in the world is built for a family of four. Tables at restaurants seat four, cars can hold 5 but it is cramped, rides have even numbers of seats at theme parks, etc.
