I was watching Meatballs last month and there’s a scene where Bill Murray does exactly what Kavanaugh is accused of doing and it feels rapey as hell today, but in 1982 it was played for laughs.

But he fucked up by denying it before her name was known and now he has to stick with that lie no matter how bad it looks. If he was sincere in his denials he would have at least done 60 minutes. But 60 Minutes would have aggressively reported all the wishy-washy statements from his friends.

He’s liar with no integrity or moral courage and willing do and say anything to get on the Court and for these reasons I am voting no on Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
