Last December I actually had a talk with my boss about quitting to go solo. He urged me to stay, even though my hours were shit and promised t work out a new pay arrangement. Nothing ever happened.
Right after the holidays my biggest client (that I hope to take with me) called me in and asked me to do a pretty big deal involving buying a big partner out of a family of about 80 different companies. I don’t know how to do that on my own, so I stayed at my firm to help me get through it (my bosses are good at this). Took a few months, then cleanup work until May or so. Done now.
Now I’m in the same boat as I was last December. Pay the same (got a measly few grand for bringing in the deal) |
