Date: September 25th, 2018 10:51 PM Author: scarlet personal credit line library Going to mediation next Wednesday (Oct 3) on a 3 surgery case. Client had a 2015 fusion surgery. After his accident in 2017 (the one we are mediating), he had adjacent level back pain. He ended up having 2 failed epidurals and a discectomy. The surgery failed as well. He ended up having two additional surgeries. A redo of his 2015 fusion at L5-S1 and an adjacent level fusion at L4-L5. Meds are 700k and our demand for mediation is 4 million. Defendant is a governmental entity, so there is no issue with limits.
If someone is interested in PI and wants to come I am happy to bring someone. It is in Downtown LA at Judicate West. Let me know. I have brought posters to my mediations before and happy to do it again. |
